looking for an experienced and creative marketing professional. As the main marketing contact for all social media & online marketing programs, the candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing new social media & online marketing programs to drive China awareness and engagement, create compelling digital conversations with our prospects, customers and influencers, and drive lead generation through effective digital strategy and social media & online channels.
You should come with solid understanding of the local IT market and having in-depth marketing culture in China. The ideal candidate is passionate about and already engaged deeply in social media and digital marketing, with a strong background in customer acquisition strategies, building creative social media campaigns, website & mobile marketing and data analysis. The candidate should also possess knowledge of Enterprise B2B sales cycles and a solid understanding of driving engagement and lead generation through online & social media. This role will define and execute on a strategy to increase brand awareness, accelerate demand and increase revenue opportunities.
This position will be based in Beijing office.
Essential Functions
Including but not limited to:
· Work with management to develop a comprehensive China digital marketing strategy for the company, which reinforces the company’s positioning and brand, and ultimately drive the revenue.
· Plan, develop, and manage digital/mobile marketing programs and campaigns which include but not limited to website and SEO/SEM, and online/mobile social media (WeChat, Weibo, Youku, Douban, LinkedIn etc.) strategies.
· Drive continuous enhancement of the company website in content, features and usability to meet with target customer needs.
· Grow customer base via digital/mobile marketing channels, and maintain good relationships with customers via social media platforms.
· Thorough knowledge of SEO and AdWords programs. Manage and report on results and set organizational KPIs and implement within dashboards using Google and Baidu Analytics or other analytics packages. Create monthly social media reports for all properties as well as company strategies and aggregate data into actionable insights to inform marketing.
· Promote relevant thought leadership and promotional content daily while monitoring relevant conversations and identifying appropriate areas for ongoing engagement.
· Work closely with internal teams and agencies to align on benchmarks and strategy.
• Strategically leverage social media channels as a key element of integrated marketing programs, in collaboration with Demand Generation, Web, Brand, and PR teams.
• Directly manage and govern the planning and execution of Brocade China WeChat program/Application and other online, mobile & social media, increasing social reach.
• Monitor conversations across social media and address important mentions in real-time through engagement, escalation, or documentation.
• Create and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring impact of social media programs. Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns and present opportunities and recommendations to maximize results to expand growth in sales and market share.
• Communicate in a professional, but unique Brocade China social media “voice” directly aligned with our thought leadership and content.
• Create social media campaigns and calls-to-action – in conjunction with the Demand Generation – that drive engagement and leads.
• Engage with our target audiences daily across multiple social media channels by sharing content, finding ways to grow followers, interactions, improving overall web exposure of Brocade.
• Stay ahead of the curve in leveraging social media channels as content hubs.
• Manage Brocade’s online and WeChat community.
• Educate and enable Brocade China teams to strategically use social channels
• Being responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting on performance of KPI's
• Localise & maintain Chinese version of company website, marketing assets & sales collateral.
Experience & Skills
• Experience working closely with a sales organization (direct and channel) to deliver demonstrable results
• Proven track record of driving and delivering tangible results i.e. demand generation
• Demonstrated social media experience for business purposes, including in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (WeChat, Weibo, Youku, Douban, LinkedIn, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
• Experience developing and executing social campaign strategies.
• 5+ years of professional level social media experience. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and immersion in social media and provide examples of your work.
• Experience with social media marketing for B2B companies Having worked in IT industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in writing for various platforms.
• Familiar with Search Marketing and SEO/SEM (Baidu, etc.) best practices.
• Proficiency in commonly used social media monitoring and online engagement tools.
• A driving passion for social media, building community, interacting with various audiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with using salesforce.com & Marketo is an advantage
• Flexibility to travel within China; travel up to 20% is a requirement
Qualifications
Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing or related experience
• Minimum 8 years marketing related experience in China with a minimum of 5 years in social media and digital marketing role.
